Educational Requirements:
Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology, or a related scientific discipline
Key Responsibilities for Quality Scientist role:
- Perform quality control chemical and biological testing of raw materials and finished peptone products
- Conduct analytical, physical, and microbiological testing including pH, bioburden, titration, and growth promotion
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment as per GMP guidelines
- Document test results and ensure data integrity compliance
- Support method qualification, validation, and equipment qualification activities
- Perform environmental monitoring of production areas
- Review batch records and support in-process quality monitoring
- Participate in audits and regulatory inspections
- Provide Quality Assurance support including material release activities
Skills Required for Quality Scientist role:
- Experience working in a Quality Control laboratory environment
- Knowledge of GMP and quality control systems
- Familiarity with analytical techniques such as HPLC, FTIR, TLC, and ICP-MS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of ISO 13485 and FDA cGMP regulations
- Experience with electronic Quality Management Systems (eQMS)
