Educational Requirements for Project Manager role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Science or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in multicenter clinical trial management or national registries for clinical research
- Experience in pharmaceutical industry and hospital environments preferred
Key Responsibilities for Project Manager role:
- Manage site feasibility questionnaires and qualification visits
- Oversee start-up activities, including site initiation
- Customize study materials for Canada and provide site training
- Serve as primary liaison to clients and biostatisticians
- Monitor project timelines, patient accrual, and recruitment activities
- Manage study materials, budget, and payments to sites
- Conduct sponsor and stakeholder meetings, and provide status reports
- Follow-up on regulatory, monitoring, data management, and statistical activities
- Prepare newsletters and support sites as needed
Skills Required for Project Manager role:
- Bilingual (French and English, excellent verbal and written communication)
- Knowledge of project and budget management
- Clinical research accreditation preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Knowledge of international, federal, and provincial clinical research regulations (ICH-GCP)
- Basic knowledge of biostatistics and data management preferred
- Proficient with technology systems (EDC, MS Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Self-directed, team-oriented, and excellent interpersonal skills
