Role Overview
As a Technologist, R&D – Biscuit, you will work as part of a cross-functional team to deliver RDQ (Research, Development & Quality) activities supporting new product development, portfolio maintenance, and productivity initiatives. The role focuses on delivering products that meet consumer expectations while ensuring quality, safety, and manufacturability.
Key Responsibilities in Food Science Job
- Organize and execute R&D projects in line with RDQ, marketing, and manufacturing requirements
- Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes effectively
- Plan and conduct pilot plant and factory trials in compliance with GMP and HACCP standards
- Support development activities such as:
- Shelf-life testing
- Designing for quality
- Consumer test preparation
- Analyze and interpret experimental data to develop conclusions and recommendations
- Prepare clear, accurate technical reports
- Create and maintain consumer-led product specifications
Qualifications & Experience
- Background in food science (FMCG experience preferred)
- Ability to work both independently and within teams under managerial guidance
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple activities
- Proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to implement solutions
