Educational Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Food Science, or a related discipline is required for the Process Coordinator Role.
Key Responsibilities of the Process Coordinator Role:
- Champion quality and food safety standards across the manufacturing plant
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, corporate, and ISO 22000 requirements
- Lead and support the implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) on the shop floor
- Manage non-conformances, line verifications, environmental hygiene, pest control, and GMP/GHP audits in this Process Coordinator Role.
- Support internal and external audits and contribute to a zero-harm workplace through the WISE Health & Safety programme
- Collaborate with production, laboratory, engineering, and warehouse teams to ensure quality outcomes
- Oversee HACCP compliance, pathogen management, and food safety index requirements
- In this Process Coordinator Role, you should support factory trials, validations, and new product introductions (NPI)
- Deliver training and build staff capability in milk testing and in-process quality control
- Drive continuous improvement and promote a strong quality culture within the factory
Skills Required for Microbiology Jobs:
- Strong understanding of HACCP, risk assessment, and food safety systems
- Knowledge of GMP, GHP, pathogen management, and food handling practices
- Experience with NZFSA and FSANZ compliance requirements
- Familiarity with ISO standards and audit processes are the important skills required for the Process Coordinator Role.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and stakeholder engagement skills
