Educational Requirements for Associate Scientist Role:
- Master’s Degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or related field with 6+ months lab experience
- OR Bachelor’s Degree with 1+ year lab experience
- OR Associate Degree with 2+ years lab experience
- OR High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years lab experience
Key Responsibilities for Associate Scientist Role:
- Conduct assigned testing with minimal supervision within lab schedules
- Perform testing according to SOPs and regulations (cGMP and GLP)
- Maintain detailed lab records and documentation
- Operate and maintain lab equipment as required
- Peer review assay batch/lab records for Right First Time (RFT)
- Use computer programs like Word, Excel, Oracle, LIMS, BRIQS
- Communicate deviations, events, and results to Study Management
- Assist in training lab personnel as assigned
- Contribute ideas to improve lab techniques, protocols, and equipment
- Comply with health and safety regulations
Skills Required for Associate Scientist Role:
- PCR, cell culture, and cell manipulation experience
- Strong knowledge of scientific lab practices and calculations
- Basic computer skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
