Educational Requirements for the Quality Control Associate Role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in an analytical or QC laboratory environment

Key Responsibilities of the Quality Control Associate:

  • Perform quality control sampling and testing for identity, strength, purity, and quality
  • Conduct assays including DNA isolation, mycoplasma, endotoxin, myogenic differentiation, and desmin testing
  • Perform lot testing and support QC validation projects
  • Assist in nonconformance and deviation investigations with additional testing as required
  • Write and maintain QC plans, reports, and documentation
  • Recommend and help establish improved QC testing methods
  • Perform cell culturing for lot testing and research activities
  • Maintain side labs, inventories, and removal of expired materials
  • Support cleanroom environmental control and cleaning practices
  • Adhere to cGMP, 21 CFR Part 11, safety, and company quality standards
  • Participate in continuous learning and skill development initiatives

Skills Required for the Quality Control Associate Role:

  • Basic understanding of cGMP and biopharmaceutical regulations
  • Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11 compliance
  • Hands-on laboratory testing and analytical skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
