Educational Requirements for the Clinical Trial Manager Role:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in a Health or Life Sciences field
- Preferred: Master’s or higher degree in a related discipline
Key Responsibilities:
- In the Clinical Trial Jobs, you have to manage day-to-day clinical trial operations in accordance with ICH-GCP, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations
- Serve as the primary sponsor contact for operational issues and study deliverables
- Provide cross-functional oversight of internal study teams
- Ensure project-specific training is completed and documented
- Develop and maintain operational project plans and timelines
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the protocol, indication, and therapeutic area
- Oversee site quality, including direct supervision of CRAs and monitoring deliverables
- Manage study risks, mitigation strategies, and issue resolution
- Review and provide input on study protocols, edit check specifications, data analysis plans, and final study reports in the Clinical Trial Jobs at Medpace.
- Manage study vendors and external partners
- Minimum 2 years of Clinical Trial Management experience
- CRO experience strongly preferred
- Experience across Phase I–IV clinical trials (Phase II–III preferred)
- Strong leadership and cross-functional team management skills
- Experience managing overall project timelines
- Bid defense experience preferred
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
