Educational Requirements for the Quality Assurance Internship:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related discipline relevant to Food Sciences
Key Responsibilities:
- As a Quality Assurance Operations Intern, you should perform data review and coordinate cheese cooling temperature studies across multiple facilities
- Support bulk cheese lactose testing and compile historical testing data
- Assist with complaint reviews and FMRA tracking
- Support ad-hoc requests and special quality projects in the Quality Assurance Internship at Saputo Careers
- Work closely with site QA advisors to support food safety and quality programs
Skills Required for the Quality Assurance Internship:
- Experience working in a laboratory environment (testing, data analysis, inspections, or audits)
- Strong understanding of food safety and quality principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a regulated manufacturing environment
- Previous internship or food/dairy industry experience (asset)
