Role Overview
Calico is seeking a highly motivated undergraduate intern to join the Protein Science group. The intern will contribute to the structural and functional characterization of proteins, working closely with cross-functional scientific teams to generate mechanistic insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Express and purify recombinant proteins
- Support structural determination and protein–protein/protein–ligand interaction studies
- Perform and optimize protein activity and binding assays
- Communicate scientific findings in group settings
Qualifications
- Pursuing a BS in Biology, Biochemistry, or related field
- Experience with recombinant protein expression and purification
- Knowledge of molecular biology and protein biochemistry principles
