How to Apply For a Biomedicine Scholarship

The scholarship application is separate from the master’s programme application. An application link will be published on this page when the application period opens. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.

Selection Process

Scholarship recipients are selected through a comprehensive academic evaluation conducted by the academic staff of each global master’s programme.

Evaluation criteria include:

  • Previous education
  • Work experience
  • Research experience
  • Statement of intent
  • Overall academic and professional merit

Some programmes may apply additional discipline-specific criteria within the CV form.

Selection Principles

The applicant with the highest merit value per programme is offered the scholarship. If two or more applicants receive the same merit score, a random selection (lottery) is used. If a scholarship recipient declines the offer, two scholarships will be awarded for that programme in the following year.

Biomedicine Scholarship Notification Process

All applicants are notified of the outcome via email. Selected candidates receive an acceptance form and must confirm acceptance by the stated deadline. Non-selected applicants receive a notification email and are invited to complete a feedback evaluation form.
