Educational Requirements for clinical laboratory associate role:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Biology or Chemistry
  • Diploma and academic transcripts must be provided upon request
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant full-time clinical laboratory experience after degree completion

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process samples in a high-throughput clinical laboratory
  • Follow standard operating procedures and laboratory policies
  • Perform authorized high-complexity clinical laboratory tests
  • Maintain quality control documentation and equipment calibration
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and document test performance issues
  • Participate in continuous improvement and process development projects
  • Communicate quality metrics and results during team meetings
  • Assist in supervising laboratory personnel when required

Skills Required for clinical laboratory associate role:

  • Strong understanding of biological science principles
  • Experience using standard laboratory equipment such as pipettes and centrifuges
