    • Week 1: Mon/Tues & Fri/Sat/Sun (2:30am – 3:00pm)
    • Week 2: Wed/Thurs (2:30am – 3:00pm)
  • Eligibility for Benefits: Employees scheduled 20+ hours/week

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or equivalent meeting CLIA & State requirements
  • Minimum 1-year clinical laboratory testing experience OR MLS degree
  • ASCP or AMT certification preferred

Key Responsibilities for Clinical Laboratory Technologist Role:

  • Evaluate specimen acceptability for testing per established criteria
  • Perform routine and complex technical lab procedures according to SOPs
  • Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments
  • Make technical decisions regarding testing and problem-solving
  • Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents or controls
  • Report accurate and timely test results for quality patient care
  • Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures
  • Replenish bench supplies and assist with specimen processing
  • Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate PPE

Skills Required for Clinical Laboratory Technologist Role:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency with computers; familiarity with laboratory information systems is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to pass a standardized color vision screen
  • Flexibility to work overtime or alternate shifts as needed
