In this Clinical Operations Job, you act as the primary architect for site start-up. You are responsible for converting operational requirements into a predictable, high-quality path to site activation, ensuring all trials are conducted ethically and in full compliance.
Contracting and Budget Negotiation
- Financial Strategy: Develop and negotiate clinical site budgets based on Fair Market Value (FMV), maintaining the integrity of all financial amendments throughout the study lifecycle.
- Legal Stewardship: Adapt global agreement templates to local requirements and collaborate with Legal teams to ensure all final contract documents are consistent and secure.
- Site Activation: Be accountable for study start-up documents and the maintenance of regulatory and ethics committee (EC) filings to ensure timely activation.
Strategic Operations
- TMF Compliance: Ensure that all executed contracts and regulatory documents are correctly filed in the Trial Master File (TMF).
- Stakeholder Interface: Act as the primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, providing status updates on budgets, issues, and payments.
- Process Improvement: Depending on your experience level (SCM or Senior SCM), you may mentor junior colleagues and lead initiatives to improve local study team workflows.
