Clinical Research Internship Overview
The Clinical Research Scientist (CRS) Intern will support Genmab’s Clinical Strategy Team (CST) by gaining practical experience in clinical research science and oncology clinical trials. The intern will collaborate with Clinical Research Scientists and cross-functional teams, contributing to clinical trial activities and high-quality deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Clinical Research Scientists across the CRS team
- Support execution of clinical trials in alignment with Clinical Development Plans (CDPs)
- Assist senior CRS members with trial protocol development and study-related documents
- Participate in data review and summarization of efficacy and safety data
- Attend mentorship meetings and contribute to team discussions on best practices and process improvements
- Provide administrative support to the Global CRS Team
- Assist with planning and organizing team meetings, including agendas, logistics, minutes, and archiving
- Support coordination of CRS-related clinical trial activities across stakeholders
- Maintain and organize Global CRS Team folder structures
- Track progress across initiatives, workstreams, and programs and communicate updates as requested
- Assist with filing and management of medical-responsible regulatory documents in the eTMF
- Support inspection readiness through document tracking, maintenance, and quality control
- Conduct scientific research for publications or indication searches
- Create, edit, and quality-check Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, Excel worksheets, and templates
- Complete ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Candidate pursuing a PhD, MS, or BS in biological sciences, or related disciplines
- Basic understanding of clinical research
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong interest in clinical research and drug development
