Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences, health sciences, or life sciences, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Key Responsibilities for Clinical Research Assistant Role:
- Assist in recruitment of study participants and assess patient eligibility for protocols.
- Support informed consent processes and cognitive testing during clinical and research visits.
- Assist PIs and sub-investigators with continuity of care for study patients.
- Collect, enter, maintain, and report clinical research data.
- Assist in data analysis and interpretation.
- Enter protocol, medical history, and demographic information into data systems.
- Review progress notes and data with research specialists and sponsor agencies.
- Compose correspondence, prepare protocol files for audits, and develop data collection plans.
- Prepare summaries of research results for evaluation, abstracts, and manuscripts.
