Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in clinical research, science, or health-related field with 2 years of experience in clinical research, or
- High school diploma with 3 years of experience in clinical research
- Experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator, Clinical Trial Associate, or In-House CRA preferred
Key Responsibilities of Clinical Research Associate Role:
- Develop, review, and update study-related training materials and manuals
- Interpret study protocols, procedures, and scientific rationale
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert for clinical sites on protocol interpretation
- Manage site feasibility questionnaires and essential documents during study start-up
- Oversee investigational product distribution and supply chain coordination
- Conduct case report form (CRF) and source document reviews
- Partner with field CRAs and CTAs to resolve site issues
- Train vendors, investigators, and study coordinators on study requirements
- Conduct remote monitoring and specimen coordination
- Support clinical study report documentation and departmental presentations
- Perform cross-functional and ad-hoc projects as assigned
Skills Required for Clinical Research Associate Role:
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Knowledge of drug development, ICH E6, and federal regulations
- Computer literacy: EDC, eTMF, CTMS
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and independent decision-making
