Role Overview
As a Junior Food Category Intern, you will support the Category Management Team, a central function responsible for product assortment, pricing, promotions, and category performance. You will gain hands-on experience in managing marketing mix and purchasing levers while tracking KPIs and contributing to decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market analysis and monitor competition (direct and indirect: retail, online, specialized markets)
- Support category management for specific product families
- Maintain updated price lists and product sheets
- Assist in managing private label product assortments
- Scout new products and suppliers to enhance category assortment
- Monitor cross-category KPIs and economic performance
Requirements For Food Science Internship
- Degree or Master’s in Food Science and Technology, Agriculture, or a related field
- Strong ability to work towards objectives and meet deadlines
