Position Summary
This summer internship supports Research & Development (R&D) in developing innovative new products, including ingredient/formulation development, process identification, and analysis of testing results.
Key Responsibilities
- Support process improvement projects to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality Assurance).
- Execute plant trials; document equipment settings, observations, and outcomes.
- Collect samples for laboratory analysis to verify product specifications.
- Review and interpret data; provide recommendations and next steps.
- Perform routine data entry and assist with sensory evaluations, shelf-life studies, and quality testing.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience For Food Science Internship
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Food Science, Biology, or a related field.
- Strong interest in R&D and product development.
Working Conditions
