Educational Requirements for this Job:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Food Science, or a related field
- Basic understanding of food chemistry, food processing, and ingredient functionality
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and food testing procedures is an advantage
Key Responsibilities:
- Cook laboratory samples and experimental prototypes according to project requirements and SOPs in this Food Science Summer Internship in the USA.
- Conduct product analyses, including Brix, pH, and viscosity measurements
- Prepare samples in application formats, such as mixing with yogurt or other products
- Collaborate with scientists and team members on daily R&D project activities in this Food Science Internship at Zentis
- Maintain laboratory equipment, materials, and ingredient inventory
- Design and conduct basic experiments and collect research data in this Summer Internship
- Document results, maintain project records, and prepare reports or presentations
- Maintain a clean, organized laboratory environment in this Summer Internship
