Educational Requirements:
Tertiary qualification in Food Science, Nutrition, or a related discipline.
Key Responsibilities for Concept Technologist Role:
- Develop innovative product concepts from ideation to feasibility assessment.
- Translate consumer trends and marketing insights into practical product solutions.
- Collaborate with NPD, Marketing, Regulatory, and Operations teams to ensure compliance, quality, and commercial viability.
- Prepare concept briefs and prototypes for internal review and stakeholder presentations.
- Contribute to the innovation pipeline and support ideation workshops.
Skills Required for Concept Technologist Role:
- Experience in FMCG, food, or nutraceutical product development (concept or early-stage preferred).
