Educational Requirements:
- Degree in Food Science, Biology, Biotechnology, or related Life Science discipline
- 1–3 years of experience in the food industry (Regulatory, Quality Assurance, or R&D preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of Traded Goods and Raw Material regulatory requests efficiently in the Food Science Job at Kerry
- Manage and approve raw material specifications
- Ensure compliance with allergen management and cross-contamination policies
- Review and update supplier raw material specifications for legality and accuracy
- As a Regulatory Technologist, you should resolve supplier information and food safety queries within defined timelines
- Support site audits and traceability of incoming raw materials
- Create and maintain technical documentation and SOPs
- Support Australia & New Zealand projects focusing on EHS, data population, and PIFV
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with RDA, QA, Operations, Procurement, and Commercial teams
- Manage and meet individual and departmental KPIs in this Food Science Job
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives with stakeholders
- Handle regulatory documentation and customer queries with high precision
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of food industry regulations and quality management systems
- Experience managing customer regulatory queries
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong documentation and administrative management skills
- Familiarity with SAP, Optiva, Power BI, and Salesforce (advantageous)
- Ability to work flexibly to meet business requirements
- Close attention to detail in documentation management
