Educational Requirements for this Job:
- Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in R&D, Quality, or Food Safety
- Experience with audits or Quality Management Systems preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the site QMS in this Food Science Job at Mars Careers
- Identify and prioritize continuous improvement and gap closure initiatives
- Drive internal and external audit programs and LRQA accreditation activities
- Deliver Quality & Food Safety (Q&FS) training to associates
- Serve as a member of the Product Related Incident Management Process (PRIMP) team
- Act as an HACCP team member
- Analyse and report key quality metrics, including consumer complaints and product performance, in this Food Science Job
- Investigate customer complaints and incidents
- Implement CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions)
- Perform traceability exercises as a Food Safety Technologist
- Participate in regional Q&FS communities
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS)
