Educational Requirements for this Job:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Food Science and Food Technology, Nutrition, or a related field
- Experience in product development (asset)
- Basic understanding of safe food handling (ServSafe certificate considered an asset)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development, preparation, and testing of new and existing food and non-food products in this Food Science Job at Metro Careers
- Participate in group product evaluations and sensory testing
- Evaluate and validate preparation instructions for products
- Conduct product shopping and market reviews
- Support recipe evaluation and development in this Food Science Job in Canada
- Collaborate cross-functionally with QA and business teams
