Educational Requirements for the Laboratory Operator:
- Degree in Food Science or a related scientific field
- Candidates currently completing their studies or holding a diploma are also encouraged to apply
Key Responsibilities:
- In the Food Science Jobs at Nestlé, you have to collaborate with logistics teams regarding incoming Raw & Pack Materials
- Conduct sampling, analysis, and reporting of results for raw and packaging materials
- Release Raw & Pack Materials in line with quality standards in the Laboratory Operator Role.
- Provide training to casual and production operators on sampling and analytical procedures
- Assist in investigations of out-of-specification results
- In this Laboratory Operator role, you should manage non-conforming raw and packaging materials, including communication with suppliers.
- Prepare and conduct sensory panels
- Provide relief support in other laboratory areas, including chemistry-related tasks
- Participate in laboratory continuous improvement initiatives
Skills Required for the Laboratory Operator Role:
- Strong communication skills
- Good computer proficiency; experience with SAP is highly valued
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail with consistent delivery of accurate results
- Interest in working in a laboratory and factory environment
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities and shift requirements
