Educational Requirements for the Food Technology Jobs:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Engineering and Technology

Key Responsibilities of the Junior Technologist Role:

  • Ensure proper application of product specifications, standards, and technological procedures during production.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot technological and process-related challenges
  • Support training and updates related to production and process technologies
  • Collect, analyze, and report production and finished goods data
  • Verify moisture content, ingredient percentages, and product parameters
  • Publish and maintain production line parameters and settings
  • Support new product launches and process innovation trials
  • Coordinate and execute product and process trials with cross-functional teams
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative physical and chemical tests
  • Conduct organoleptic (sensory) testing to ensure products meet specifications
  • Support Quality and Production teams in maintaining food safety and quality standards
  • Interface with R&D/DTC teams for plant trials and sample validation
  • Verify in-process control (IPC) results such as composition, texture, dimension, and moisture
  • Assist in identifying and correcting Health & Safety issues
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives such as waste reduction and continuous improvement

Skills Required for the Food Technology Jobs:

  • Strong knowledge of food process technology and manufacturing operations
  • Proficiency in organoleptic (sensory) testing
  • Data analysis and reporting skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
