Role Overview

The Laboratory Analyst plays a vital role in supporting manufacturing operations at P&G by ensuring efficient sample testing and maintaining high-quality standards. Working behind the scenes in a manufacturing plant environment, the analyst contributes directly to product quality, operational performance, and business outcomes. This is a fully onsite position reporting to the Quality Control Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform raw material, finished goods, intermediate, and development sample analysis using standard analytical and/or microbiological procedures, including WIP/Bulk, stability testing, and protocol-related materials
  • Support manufacturing operations, validation activities, and development studies through daily laboratory testing
  • Perform routine instrument maintenance and calibration during analytical work
  • Conduct instrument troubleshooting and problem diagnosis
  • Identify and observe issues with test results and report findings to the supervisor
  • Conduct analytical method development work under direct supervision and mentorship from Lab Leaders or other staff
  • Support additional laboratory activities, including work with less complex instruments, maintenance, calibration, training, and SOP revision or creation (e.g., HPLC, FTIR, GC, CompuTrac, and others)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, or a related field
  • Appropriate Chemistry or Microbiology skills and capability
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a GMP Quality Control analytical environment (preferred)
  • Ability to work flexible shifts as required by business needs
  • Ability to develop and demonstrate the skills required to perform essential job functions
