Educational Requirements for this Job:
- Post-secondary student currently on a co-op semester
- Preferably completed at least 2 years of post-secondary education in Food Science or a related science field
- Laboratory experience is preferred
- Physically able to lift 10 kg (20 lbs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and shipment of sample blends for customer and/or internal testing in this Lab Assistant Job in Canada
- Ingredient and blend testing support for R&D projects
- Support plant trials for new blends and scale-up activities
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness and replenish ingredients in this Lab Assistant Job at Caldic
- Collaborate cross-functionally with QA, Sample Room, Supply Chain, and Operations teams
- Assist in supporting the commercial NPD process and the manufactured product portfolio

- Strong laboratory handling and sample preparation skills
