Overview

The Project Leader – Biopharmaceutical Quality Control role is based in Visp, Switzerland, where the candidate leads quality control activities within a GMP-regulated biopharmaceutical environment. The position focuses on project coordination, customer interaction, and quality oversight to ensure successful production campaigns and compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and support production campaigns, ensuring QC readiness.
  • Manage change requests and deviations in accordance with GMP regulations.
  • Provide support during customer audits and regulatory authority inspections.
  • Calculate and monitor quality control costs for assigned projects.
  • Coordinate, prioritize, and schedule project tasks independently to meet deadlines.

Candidate Profile

PhD or equivalent experience in Life Sciences such as:

  • Biology
  • Biochemistry
  • Pharmaceutical Sciences

Experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology GMP environment, particularly in Quality Control, is advantageous.

Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Excellent organizational and project management abilities.

Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with systems such as Documentum, LIMS, or TrackWise is beneficial.

Fluent English is required.

Basic German (B1) with motivation to improve quickly; free language courses are available.
