Life Science Internship Overview
The Medical Communications Intern will support the Medical Department for Rare Diseases in North Europe. The role involves contributing to the development of clear and engaging communications for Northern European markets, supporting new medical campaigns and internal updates.
The intern will collaborate closely with an international team of 11 colleagues across Europe, gaining hands-on experience in healthcare communication and insight into how scientific knowledge is translated into meaningful impact for patients and healthcare professionals.

Main Responsibilities
- Support preparation of communication materials for new medical campaigns across Northern Europe
- Review medical and scientific publications and assist in translating them into accessible, engaging content
- Collaborate with colleagues across multiple European markets
- Assist in content creation for internal and external communication initiatives
- Utilize digital and AI tools to support daily communication activities
- Ensure materials are accurate, compliant, and aligned with medical standards
Qualifications
- Ongoing university studies in Life Sciences, Pharmacology, Biology, Biomedical Medicine, or a related field
- Strong written and spoken English proficiency
- Ability to work confidently in an international and cross-functional environment
- Capability to interpret scientific content and communicate it clearly and effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Interest in digital tools, including AI, and willingness to learn
- Proactive mindset and motivation to develop within healthcare communication
