Educational Requirements:
- Degree in Food Science, Biology, Biotechnology, or related Life Science discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in Regulatory, Quality Assurance, or R&D in the food industry preferred.
Key Responsibilities of Regulatory Technologist Role:
- Manage day-to-day regulatory queries and information fulfillment for raw materials.
- Support execution of traded goods and raw material requests efficiently.
- Approve raw material specifications for legality and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with allergen management and cross-contamination policies.
- Highlight and correct supplier-submitted specifications as needed.
- Resolve supplier queries promptly within critical timelines.
- Support site audits and ensure traceability of incoming raw materials.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous excellence.
- Meet individual and department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Skills Required for Regulatory Technologist Role:
- Strong knowledge of food industry regulations and quality management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder management.
- Experience handling customer queries and cross-functional collaboration.
- Familiarity with SAP, Optiva, Power BI, and Salesforce systems is an advantage.
- Ability to maintain precision in regulatory documentation and virtual communication.
