Educational Requirements for the Operations Associate Role:
- Associate’s Degree in Life Sciences or Manufacturing with 2–3 years of related experience
OR - Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences with 0–2 years of Biotech/Pharmaceutical experience or equivalent industry experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manufacturing procedures for autologous CAR-T products in a cGMP cleanroom.
- Execute cell culturing, purification, aseptic processing, and cryopreservation activities.
- Follow SOPs and batch records while documenting production data accurately.
- Maintain compliance with GDP, cGMP, and quality systems.
- Work cross-functionally to complete shift-based production tasks.
- Support process development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Handle human-derived materials and hazardous chemicals.
- Complete training curriculum and maintain cGMP knowledge.
- Wear appropriate PPE and maintain a safe work environment.
- Support audits, investigations, and schedule adjustments.
Skills Required for Operations Associate Role:
- Ability to interpret written, oral, and diagram-based instructions
- Problem-solving capability in environments with limited standardization
- Strong math skills (whole numbers, fractions, decimals)
- Knowledge of manufacturing and lab equipment
- Understanding of testing and sampling methods
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift 25 lbs
- Ability to perform gowning procedures
