As a (Senior) Microbiologist, you will ensure the quality and safety of products through microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, and GMP compliance. You will support manufacturing, production, and product development activities while fostering a safe, collaborative, and innovative work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental monitoring and provide sterile manufacturing support.
- Perform in-process and sterility testing in compliance with GMP.
- Execute basic lab techniques and support stability studies.
- Support production line and product development activities.
- Conduct microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Prepare and test microbiological media to ensure availability and compliance.
- Accurately document laboratory activities according to GLP/GMP and regulatory requirements.
- Train and mentor team members in lab techniques and GMP practices.
Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Tertiary qualification in Science, majoring in Microbiology or related discipline.
- Scientific background relevant to microbiology and pharmaceutical laboratory work.
- Knowledge and experience with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).
- Strong understanding of microbiological testing and analysis.
- Proficient in written and spoken English; strong technical report writing capability.
- Computer literate: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
