Educational Requirements:
- Minimum BS/BA in Biology, Engineering, or equivalent
- Microbiology degree preferred
Key Responsibilities of Microbiology Analyst Role:
- Perform routine and non-routine microbiological testing on in-process and finished products
- Conduct environmental monitoring (viable and non-viable) in aseptic areas
- Perform sterility testing, growth promotion, and biological indicator testing
- Maintain sample logs, test records, and laboratory documentation
- Enter results into Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
- Perform sampling of utilities such as WFI, Purified Water, and Clean Compressed Air
- Support investigations related to OOS/OOL results
- Maintain equipment calibration, usage logs, and routine maintenance
- Support audits, method transfer, validation, and vendor qualification activities
Skills Required for Microbiology Analyst Role:
- Strong knowledge of cGMP regulations in a laboratory setting
- Hands-on experience with aseptic techniques and microbiology testing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows systems
- Good written, verbal, and documentation skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
