Educational Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology or a related field
- 1 or more years of experience in a GMP or regulated laboratory environment preferred
Key Responsibilities for QC Analyst Role:
- Perform routine quality control microbiology testing to support product release
- Conduct environmental monitoring, bioburden, endotoxin, and growth promotion testing
- Perform raw material, intermediate, and non-routine microbiological testing
- Support critical utilities and personnel monitoring activities
- Prepare and send samples for microbial identification and mycoplasma testing
- Maintain laboratory equipment and perform general lab maintenance
- Assist in revising SOPs and participate in quality systems such as deviations and CAPA
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, Production, Validation, and Logistics
Skills Required for QC Analyst Role:
- Knowledge of cGMP and GLP regulations
- Experience with environmental monitoring and microbiology testing techniques
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access
- Ability to work in classified cleanroom environments (ISO 5, 7, and 8)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle biohazardous materials and laboratory chemicals safely
