Educational Requirements for QC Microbiology Tech role:
- AA Degree + 1 year of Microbiology/Environmental Monitoring experience
OR
- High School Diploma + 2 years of relevant microbiology lab experience
Key Responsibilities for QC Microbiology Tech role:
- Perform cleanroom environmental monitoring
- Collect and test water samples on schedule
- Conduct microbiological assays: Gram Stain, Sterility, Endotoxin, Bioburden, Growth Promotion, Microbial ID
- Perform visual inspection of final product
- Record, enter, and trend QC data
- Support OOS investigations and deviation management
- Maintain lab spaces and equipment
- Review and approve final release test results
- Complete additional QC microbiology job as assigned
Skills Required for QC Microbiology Tech role:
- Experience with environmental air, water, and surface monitoring
- Strong aseptic and cleanroom techniques
- Ability to gown and lift ~25 lbs
- Ability to pass a vision exam
- Knowledge of GMP, SOPs, and QC microbiology workflows
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Flexibility to work overtime based on operational needs
