Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and non-routine microbiological tests on in-process products, raw materials, and finished products in this Microbiology Job in the USA.
- Conduct environmental monitoring (EM) sampling and analysis.
- Maintain sample logs to ensure timely testing and accurate tracking.
- Perform routine sampling of critical utilities, including Water-for-Injection, Purified Water, Clean Compressed Air, and Nitrogen Distribution Systems as a Microbiology Analyst.
- Count colony-forming units (CFU) on Petri plates.
- Conduct sterility testing for final products and raw materials.
- Perform Growth Promotion and Biological Indicator testing at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals.
- Prepare reagents, materials, and equipment used in microbiological testing within sterile environments.
- Enter test results into Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
- Maintain instrument usage, calibration logs, and equipment maintenance records.
- Conduct investigations for out-of-specification (OOS) or out-of-limit (OOL) results.
- Support method transfer, validation activities, and troubleshooting.
- Assist with audits of suppliers and contract laboratories in this Microbiology Job in the USA.
- Ensure laboratory documentation and regulatory compliance.
Educational Requirements for this Job:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, or an equivalent scientific discipline.
- A Microbiology degree is preferred.
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of current cGMP regulations for laboratory environments
- Experience with aseptic techniques in microbiology laboratories
- Strong laboratory documentation and record-keeping skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
