Labcorp 2026 Global Internship Program

This role is part of Labcorp’s 2026 Global Internship Program, offering motivated students an opportunity to gain hands-on experience through an 11-week paid internship. Interns contribute to impactful projects while supporting Labcorp’s mission to improve health and improve lives.

During the internship, participants are immersed in project-based work aligned with their academic background and gain exposure to Labcorp’s global business, culture, and leadership. Program highlights include:

About the Team

Personal Genome Diagnostics (PGDx), part of Labcorp, focuses on unlocking actionable genomic insights to advance precision oncology. The Bioinformatics and Data Science team is a multidisciplinary group of engineers and scientists supporting bioinformatics and data science needs across the oncology portfolio.

Internship Assignment Summary

  • Support the evaluation of bioinformatics pipelines and software
  • Contribute to technical documentation
  • Learn development processes in an agile environment
  • Become familiar with genomics results for precision oncology products

Education, Qualifications & Skills

  • Working toward a bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, or a related field
  • Proficiency working with data and/or software
  • Experience with next-generation sequencing data and/or related tools (preferred)
  • Experience delivering multiple projects in academic or professional settings
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
