Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in biology or a related field
Key Responsibilities for Quality Control Specialist Role:
- Perform routine analytical testing including cell-based potency assays, ddPCR, qPCR, ELISAs, and HPLC limit tests
- Prepare laboratory solutions and maintain cell lines for multiple clinical programs
- Maintain laboratory documentation including logbooks, test forms, LIMS data, and electronic records
- Assist in revising SOPs, work instructions, forms, protocols, and reports
- Ensure laboratory cleanliness, organization, and equipment maintenance
- Work closely with Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Analytical Development, and Production teams
- Strictly follow GMP guidelines, SOPs, and company policies
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within QC laboratories
Skills Required for Quality Control Specialist Role:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with cell-based assays and PCR techniques
- Knowledge of cGMP Quality Control laboratory practices
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Experience with LIMS systems is preferred
