Quality Control Job Overview
The Associate QC Environmental Monitoring role is responsible for executing environmental monitoring and related testing activities within a GMP-regulated quality control setting.
Role Responsibilities
- Perform environmental monitoring and testing activities.
- Complete routine QC laboratory tasks, including equipment maintenance and general lab upkeep.
- Write, revise, and review SOPs, documents, and reports as assigned.
- Read, understand, and follow SOPs while ensuring compliance with cGMP standards.
- Apply critical thinking and scientific methods to resolve technical problems.
Minimum Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Biological Sciences, Biology, Microbiology, or related field with 2 years of experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 6 months of experience.
- Prior GMP experience and knowledge of cGMP practices.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in a high-performing team.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in a cross-functional environment.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with environmental monitoring electronic systems (e.g., MODA).
- Experience in pharmaceutical or biotech QC labs, especially environmental sampling.
- Knowledge of methods and techniques for monitoring cell therapy cleanrooms.
