Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or a related field (preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the collection, preparation, and processing of biological samples (blood, tissue, saliva, DNA) in this Research Associate Job Position
- Maintain accurate documentation and labeling for full sample traceability
- Ensure proper storage conditions, including cryopreservation and ambient storage
- Implement and manage sample inventory systems using tools such as FreezerPro or LabArchives

- Support data analysis, reporting, and research publication preparation

Skills Required:

- Experience with cryopreservation, DNA/RNA extraction, and cell culture
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance (HIPAA, GxP, CLIA, IRB)
- Proficiency in database management and data analysis (Excel, SPSS, R)
- Experience with LIMS and biorepository software (FreezerPro, LabWare, Snowflake-based systems)
- Knowledge of SQL and Python (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience handling laboratory equipment (freezers, liquid nitrogen tanks, centrifuges)
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively
