Key Responsibilities for Research Technician Role:
- Assist scientists in laboratory experiments and clinical tasks
- Set up, adjust, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment
- Prepare and organize laboratory supplies; order materials and coordinate with vendors
- Conduct biological, microbiological, or biochemical tests, and analyze experimental data
- Collect, isolate, and examine specimens such as blood, drugs, or animal samples
- Record results, maintain laboratory notebooks, and contribute to reports and publications
- Participate in grant applications, manuscript preparation, and presentations
