Educational Requirements for Research Associate Role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, or related fields with 1–3 years of hands-on experience
OR - Associate degree with 3–5 years of relevant laboratory experience
Preferred:
- Experience with histology, tissue preparation, microscopy, and staining
- Basic understanding of tissue anatomy and pathology
- Familiarity with automated IHC systems
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop
Key Responsibilities for Research Associate Role:
- Perform antibody IHC testing following SOPs
- Interpret and optimize antibody staining results
- Conduct instrument setup, calibration, and preventive maintenance
- Manage reagents, laboratory supplies, and waste
- Participate actively in lab meetings
- Maintain adherence to safety and regulatory protocols
- Utilize internal databases for research and reporting
- Contribute to updating and improving SOPs
- Learn and adopt new techniques as the company evolves
