As a research associate, you will work on fixed tissue samples, optimize IHC staining, analyze data sets, and maintain accurate documentation while supporting essential laboratory operations.

Educational Requirements for Research Associate Role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, or related fields with 1–3 years of hands-on experience
    OR
  • Associate degree with 3–5 years of relevant laboratory experience

Preferred:

  • Experience with histology, tissue preparation, microscopy, and staining
  • Basic understanding of tissue anatomy and pathology
  • Familiarity with automated IHC systems
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop

Key Responsibilities for Research Associate Role:

  • Perform antibody IHC testing following SOPs
  • Interpret and optimize antibody staining results
  • Conduct instrument setup, calibration, and preventive maintenance
  • Manage reagents, laboratory supplies, and waste
  • Participate actively in lab meetings
  • Maintain adherence to safety and regulatory protocols
  • Utilize internal databases for research and reporting
  • Contribute to updating and improving SOPs
  • Learn and adopt new techniques as the company evolves

Skills Required for Research Associate Role:
