Educational Requirements for the Research Assistant Position:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Life science or related field
- Relevant laboratory experience may be substituted for formal education
- Familiarity with standard laboratory equipment
- Experience with DNA/RNA extraction and PCR is an advantage
Key Responsibilities:
- As a Research Assistant, you should analyze biological and chemical samples in compliance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines
- Conduct routine laboratory analyses using approved methods and protocols
- Accurately document work and maintain laboratory records and study documentation
- Identify deviations from expected results and report findings to management in the Research Jobs at Labcorp.
- Operate laboratory instruments according to established SOPs
- Plan and manage daily workload effectively
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant laboratory environment
- Collaborate with team members to support efficient lab operations in the Research Assistant Role.
