Educational Requirements for the Food Science Internship:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline

Key Responsibilities of the Food Safety Intern Role:
- Validate microbial sampling and testing techniques
- Support thermal inactivation and food safety validation studies
- Develop and review laboratory and sampling Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Participate in customer complaint reduction using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and CAPA
- Analyze processing parameters and their impact on finished product quality
- Assist with training operations teams on quality and food safety impacts
- Validate analytical methods used in oils and corn milling processes
- Participate in internal audits and updates to Food Safety Plans
- Engage with Bunge’s Quality & Food Safety Management System
Skills Required for the Food Science Internship:
- Knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and quality systems
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills
