Educational Requirements for the Summer Internship:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s degree program in Life Sciences, including Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Neuroscience, or related disciplines
  • Must be eligible to work full-time for the duration of the internship

Key Responsibilities:

  • In this Regulatory Affairs Intern Role at AstraZeneca Careers, you should manage regulatory documentation by uploading, tracking, and maintaining files in regulatory systems
  • Assist in planning, preparing, and executing simple regulatory submissions
  • Support the preparation and coordination of regulatory dispatches
  • Order and track regulatory requirements such as:
    • Registration samples
    • Certificates of Pharmaceutical Product (CPPs)
    • Letters of Authorization and Powers of Attorney
    • Translated regulatory documents
  • Provide support for non-drug regulatory projects and act as a point of contact or system super-user when assigned in this Regulatory Affairs Intern Role.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing within the Regulatory Affairs Management (RAM) group
  • Support process improvement initiatives as needed

Skills Required for the Summer Internship:

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective time management and project coordination abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based regulatory environment
  • Awareness of Health Canada regulations and Canadian regulatory frameworks (asset)
