Educational Qualifications for the Quality Control Specialist Role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related life science field (preferred)
- Equivalent hands-on experience with PCR and molecular biology techniques will also be considered
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine QC testing using qPCR, Real-Time PCR, droplet digital PCR, SDS-PAGE, and other laboratory techniques in this Quality Control Specialist Role.
- Execute assigned batch testing and complete documentation in SAP for product release
- Support compliance with ISO 13485, GLP, and GMP standards
- Communicate technical issues promptly to support root-cause analysis and corrective actions
- Collaborate with planners, supervisors, and cross-functional teams to prevent backorders in the Quality Control Jobs at Bio-Rad Laboratories.
- Participate in daily Tier 1 meetings covering safety, quality, delivery, and inventory
- Assist in laboratory maintenance, cleanliness, 5S, and safety initiatives
- Cross-train on multiple QC processes to support efficient workload distribution
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects and new product implementation
Skills & Experience Required for the Quality Control Jobs:
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or quality control laboratory environment
- Hands-on experience in chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, or life sciences QC
- Prior experience in GLP/GMP-regulated environments
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and SAP (preferred)
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and testing schedules
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a highly collaborative team
- Willingness to learn new processes and support continuous improvement initiatives

- Base Salary Range: $68,640 – $83,100 per year
