Educational Requirements for the Quality Assurance Jobs:
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Food Science, or a related discipline
Key Responsibilities:
- In the Quality Assurance Jobs, you should track the progress of packaging copies during the development stage of corporate brand products
- Follow up with vendors who do not meet timelines or regulatory requirements
- Create new or revised product packaging copy for design, packaging, and regulatory use for QA Jobs at Metro.
- Validate vendor-provided information against Metro standards and regulatory requirements
- Liaise between Metro and vendors to ensure accurate and timely information exchange
- In the QA Jobs, you should support the Quality Assurance Coordinator during vacation periods
- Collect and manage kosher, halal, and organic certifications and maintain databases
- Manage special regulatory projects as assigned by senior QA and regulatory leadership in the QA Role.
Skills Required for the QA Jobs:
- 1–3 years of experience in a regulatory or quality assurance role
- Knowledge of regulatory and legislative policies and procedures
- Intermediate computer skills, especially Excel and Word
- SAP knowledge (an asset)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage timelines and vendor communications
- English/French bilingualism (an asset)
