Educational Requirements for the Scientific & Regulatory Affairs Coordinator:

Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Food Science, Or a related scientific discipline
Key Responsibilities of the Scientific & Regulatory Affairs Coordinator:
- Maintain and organize regulatory databases, dossiers, and compliance records
- Support the preparation, review, and maintenance of regulatory documentation, including Product specifications, Ingredient listings, Nutrition facts, Label claims and label information
- Conduct preliminary regulatory assessments for new ingredients, additives, and processing aids under supervision
- Assist with artwork and label reviews, ensuring accurate allergen declarations, ingredient lists, and nutrition information
- Perform regulatory data entry, tracking, and reporting activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as R&D, Quality, Marketing, and Legal to complete compliance projects on time
Skills Required for the Scientific & Regulatory Affairs Coordinator Role:
- Basic understanding of food regulations and standards
- Introductory knowledge of food additive regulations
- Familiarity with food labeling and declaration requirements
