- Job Title: Entry Level Microbiologist – Media Prep
- Location: Lancaster, PA, USA
- Job Type: Full-time | First Shift (Tuesday–Saturday)
Microbiologist Role Summary
Work under mentorship to support bio/pharmaceutical testing with a focus on media preparation and microbiology lab operations, ensuring compliance with GMP/GLP standards and high-quality data delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare media, reagents, samples, and standards
- Perform microbiology techniques (aseptic technique, pipetting, serial dilutions, Gram stains)
- Document testing, observations, deviations, and results per SOPs and regulatory requirements
- Review and process laboratory data; generate reports
- Maintain clean and compliant lab workspace
- Apply GMP/GLP and meet quality and productivity metrics
- Use MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or related field
- Authorization to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship)
- Experience with:
- Media preparation
- Biological safety cabinets & microscopes
- Aseptic technique, organism/culture prep, serial dilution, Gram staining
Schedule & Work Conditions
