  • Job Title: Manufacturing Associate – Biologics
  • Shift: Day Shift (Approx. 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 2-2-3 rotation
  • Location: Holly Springs, North Carolina, United States
  • Employment Type: Full-Time

Educational Requirements for the Manufacturing Associate:

Requirements vary by Manufacturing Associate level:

  • Manufacturing Associate 2

    • High School Diploma or GED with 2 years of life sciences manufacturing experience, or

    • Associate’s Degree in Life Sciences, or

    • Equivalent military training/experience

  • Manufacturing Associate 3

    • High School Diploma or GED with 4 years of experience, or

    • Associate’s Degree with 2 years of experience, or

    • BA/BS in Life Sciences, or

    • Equivalent military experience

Key Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Associate:

  • Participate in testing activities such as FAT and PQ
  • Support documentation preparation, including SOPs and Work Instructions
  • Contribute to operational readiness for weigh & dispense, drug substance, and drug product manufacturing
  • Support commissioning, qualification, and process transfer activities
  • Execute and document manufacturing processing steps in compliance with cGMP
  • Perform functional area operations, monitoring, and process control
  • Execute validation protocols following SOPs
  • Maintain GMP compliance and personal training records
  • Serve as a trainer for coworkers when qualified
  • Support scheduling and daily operations as needed
  • Perform shift work, including weekends and potential nights
  • Complete additional duties as assigned

Skills Required for the Manufacturing Associate Role:

  • Experience in life sciences or biopharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of cGMP regulations
  • Ability to execute and document manufacturing processes accurately
  • Attention to detail and a compliance-driven mindset
  • Ability to work in a 24/7 shift-based manufacturing environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Willingness to support operational readiness and startup activities
